About This Database

This xenotransplantation database provides comprehensive information on single-cell and bulk RNA-seq data from various xenograft experiments.

The database consists of three main modules:

Database Summary: Card-style display of all studies with filtering options.
Single-Cell Analysis: Visualization of single-cell data including UMAP plots and gene expression feature plots.
Bulk Gene Analysis: Pseudo-bulk gene expression analysis across samples.

Data Structure

Study Database

Each study record includes:

Data_Source: Article title or experiment identifier
Graft_Species: Species of the transplanted organ (Human-Suscro for pig-to-human)
Transplant_Organ: Type of organ transplanted (e.g., Heart, Kidney, Liver, Kidney)
Abstract: Study summary
PBMC_Code: Code for peripheral blood mononuclear cell data (FH, SH, K, FC, SC)
Parenchymal_Code: Code for parenchymal cell data (heart, kidney01, kidney02, liver01, liver02, med)

Code Correspondence

PBMC and parenchymal codes correspond as follows:

Gene Feature Plots

File Organization

Gene feature plots are pre-generated and stored in the following folders:

PBMC Data: Files are stored in 'pbmc_Database_Feature' folder with naming pattern [gene].png
Parenchymal Data: Files are stored in 'Database_Feature' folder with naming patterns:

sus-scrofa-[gene].png (pig genes)
GRCh38-----[gene].png (human genes)
